Jason Willig, Founder

Jason Willig has spent 25 years building, running, and advising video game companies — and helping investors understand them.

He was most recently an Operating Partner at Hiro Capital, an early-stage venture fund focused on games, where he worked on investment strategy and directly with portfolio companies on growth, organizational development, and operational execution — serving as a board member or board observer for several. Before that, he was the President of Big Fish Games, a leading mobile publisher, where he led a comprehensive turnaround of the business. Jason spent seven years at Electronic Arts in progressively senior roles across the Casual, Maxis, and Mobile divisions, and has held leadership positions in strategy, operations, business development, and product management at Amazon, LucasArts, and Vivendi Universal Games.

Jason takes on select advisory, consulting, and fractional engagements with game companies and institutional investors. He works with executives and entrepreneurs navigating growth, distribution, and business transformation as well as the unique challenges that have come to the fore during the current disruptive but exciting period for the games industry. These include product strategy, leadership & organizational development, executive recruiting, partnerships, and the occasional pivot or hard reset.

When he's not working, you'll find him on a bicycle or in a converted sprinter van exploring the country with his wife and dog.
